Opening Possibilities - Awakening Potential assists in the unfolding of being in relationship with ourselves, others and the world in which we live. It is about expanding our understanding of what and who we are, the capacities we carry and the origin of the restrictions that diminish those innate capabilities. We are all connected by the common adventure of being human; each heart asks similar questions about meaning and purpose. Each heart strains against the limits of doubt and insecurities. It is a question of self-identification and power. True power comes from within, from what has purpose and meaning. Love and self-love are at the core of this. Identifying ourselves by what we do, what we have or don't have and what we believe we can control are based in fear. This series has been developed to speak to the changes that are being felt and experienced by people around the world. Times of transition and change naturally bring up uncertainty and questions about value, meaning, purpose and choice. If circumstances cannot be changed, what can be? If circumstances dictate what can or cannot be done, where is choice? If circumstances impose limits and restrictions how can those limits be transcended? Often experiences and circumstances can change us in ways we do not always understand at the time. The impact of our experiences is felt long before we have an understanding or make sense of what has transpired. The effort to expand the definitions we hold of ourselves and our world leads to increased potential and the possibility of transforming our experience. We are pleased to offer the first workshop in this series: Love is What You Are Born With - Fear is What You Learn. Join us as we begin the exploration of the nature of Love and Fear. What is right action? What is mine to do? How do I find the answer to these and other questions of self- identification and expression? And why is it important for me to ask any of these questions anyway? What difference will it make in my life? All are good questions and ones we have asked ourselves.
